NCSA Elects Two To Board, Recognizes Departing Director
Press Release October 1, 2019Cleveland — Mike Mosto, of Impact Berg LLC, and Carol Ghelarducci, of First Source LLC, have been elected to the NCSA Board of Directors, while Nick DiRenzo and Mike Koch, of Sanders, A Division of Kar’s Nuts, were re-elected to the board, the Association reports.
The NCSA also acknowledges Maryann Walburn, of Rovema North America; Thalia Hohenthal, of Guittard Chocolate Co.; and Dave Fleischer, of The Promotion In Motions Cos., Inc., whose terms on the board have ended.
“I want to thank the members of our board of directors, both newly elected and those stepping down, for the time they commit to ensuring the continuity of the NCSA and the Candy Hall of Fame,” says NCSA President Mark Lozano.
For his commitment to the Association, Fleischer was awarded the NCSA Distinguished Service Award during the Candy Hall of Fame weekend. This honor is not given annually, but only when the Association’s Board of Directors sees a truly deserving candidate whose service has gone above and beyond for the betterment of the organization.
Prior to presenting Fleischer the award, NCSA Secretary Mary Beth Lane, of Carlin Group, said: “During Dave’s years as an NCSA director he was instrumental in putting forth ideas that have been tremendous assets in the evolution of this event and the Association overall. His forward-thinking and frank approach have consistently worked to better the organization.”
