Theodore R. Horelick

Ted was born April 6, 1936 in New York City, attended DeWitt Clinton High School in Bronx, NY, and graduated from the University of Vermont in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He married Marsha in September, 1961, and raised two children, Laurie and Jeffrey.

Ted spent his industry career with the Stanley Marks Co. Inc. where he was president at the time of his induction. He was a past president of the New York Candy Club and became a National Candy Wholesalers Association Candy Ambassador in 1980.

When his son Jeffrey entered the candy industry, he represented the fourth generation of Horelicks in the industry. Ted cited his wife and his uncle, company founder Stanley Marks, as his biggest influences during his induction speech.
