Ross B. Colletti

Class of 1990

Ross Colletti was born in July, 1929 in Bronx, NY. He is a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School and the New York Institute of Dietetics.

Ross’ service to the industry began in 1953 when he joined American Chicle Div. of Warner Lambert Co. as a sales representative for the New York area where he achieved the position of manager, trade development. In 1985, he joined Henry Heide Co. as director, trade development.

In 1988, Ross formed RBC Marketing and Sales where he served as president at the time of his induction into the Candy Hall of Fame in 1990.

Ross’ contributions to the candy business has resulted in resulted in his receiving more than 20 honors throughout his career, including being named an NCWA Dean of the Industry in 1975, numerous distinguished service awards from a number of industry groups and in 1985 was inducted into the National Assn. Of Tobacco Distributors’ Industry Hall of Fame. In 1975, Ross received the Award of Honor for his works with the United Jewish Appeal.

Ross passed away September 14, 2006.
