Roch (Rocky) Lemieux

Rocky was vice-president of sales and marketing for Elmer Candy Corp. in Ponchatouia, LA, at the time of his induction. He played a major role in the growth of the company from a small general line manufacturer with regional distribution to a major supplier of seasonal chocolates in the U.S. Canada, and Mexico.

His career in the confectionery industry began in 1967 when he joined Curtiss Candy Co. in Columbia, SC, where he advanced from sales rep to key account rep to district manager in just five years. He joined Elmer’s in 1972 as a regional sales manager in Atlanta, and moved to Louisiana in 1974 as director of sales. He was named vice-president of sales and marketing in 1978.

Rocky and his wife Sharon now live in Covington, LA.
