Robert H. Wallish

Class of 1997

Born July 15, 1937, in Evanston, IL, Bob attended St. George High School in Evanston. A business major, Bob received his BA from Marquette University while playing football on a four-year scholarship. He married Jenny Berg-Wallish in September 1988. He had three daughters by a previous marriage; Deborah, Elizabeth and Kathleen.

Bob began as a sales representative with Kaiser Aluminum in 1961. Between 1964 and 1975, he served as vice-president of sales for the Cracker Jack, Campfire and Flavor House Nuts brands at the confectionery division of Borden. Until 1978, he was vice- president of operations and key account sales at brokerage Worth-Daniels.

In June 1, 1978 he hung out the shingle for R.H. Wallish Associates, Inc. where he remained as president until his death in 1995.
