Nan L. White

Class of 1998

Born in Joplin, MO on February 20, 1945, Nan attended Neosho High and Joplin City College. She married Charles in 1981 and they have two children, Ricky and Lorie.

Nan was vice-president confections and snacks at Interwest/Nan White Brokerage at the time of her induction. Previously, she held management positions at Electrolux, Albertson’s and Shoppers Discount & Grocery.

In 1973, Nan became vice-president of Bromar’s Utah/Idaho Division until starting her own brokerage in 1987. In 1996, she merged her business with Interwest.

She was elected a Candy Ambassador in 1986 and was also awarded Ragold Inc.’s Broker of the Year award. She also won Spangler Candy Co.’s Broker and Brokerage of the Year awards, and eight Achievement Awards from Storck U.S.A.
