Mario M. Pitoscia

Class of 1998

Born December 7, 1931, in Toronto, Ontario, Mario attended Central High, then Toronto Dominion where he obtained a degree in business administration. In 1957 he married Connie and they raised two sons.

President of Citrin-Pitoscia Co. Inc. at the time of his induction, he began his candy career in 1960 as a merchandiser at Otto Weber Brokerage. In 1962 he became a regional manager for Peanut Products of America. In 1965 he became vice-president of sales at Bettman Nut Co. joining Lublin-Citron in 1974. A past president of the New York Candy Club, he was also elected a Candy Ambassador.

Mario passed away January 31, 2017.
