John F. Wynn

John F. Wynn was born June 27, 1957, to Francis Jr. and Peg, in Silver Spring, MD. He has six siblings; Kathleen, Patrick, Christopher, Jerome, Joseph and Kerry.
John graduated from Dulaney High School in Timonium, MD, in 1975, and began his 24-year career in the candy business in 1987 as an account manager for Chaimson Brokerage Co.
John says he took the position to expand his understanding of the wholesale side of the brokerage.
John began working at RMI and Assoc. as a senior account executive in 1989 and during his tenure with the company he was invited numerous times to attend Tootsie Roll Industries, Inc.’s national sales meetings.
On June 21, 1992, John married Eva at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Baltimore. Together they have two children, Maggie and Nicholas.
He was named a Candy Ambassador by the American Wholesale Marketers Association in 1994.
In 1999, John became senior account manager at Eisman Gleit Four Star, LLC, a position that he still holds. While with the company, John has been honored four times with Goetze’s President’s Award and has been recognized for his work by Atkinson Candy Co., Ricola USA and Adams & Brooks, Inc.
He has been active in the industry as a member of the NCSA for some 20 years, serving on its board from 1994 to 2005 as second vice-president, vice-president, president and chairman. He was also president of the Confectionery Salesman’s Club of Baltimore from 1993 to 2005, and has been a member since 1987.
John says he is grateful for the support of many friends and colleagues in the confectionery industry who have had significant impact on his career.
Away from the business, he is an active member of his church, Timonium Presbyterian, where he currently serves as a deacon.
In his free time John enjoys collecting music, reading, writing and spending time on the outer banks of North Carolina.
He also enjoys helping with his kids’ sports teams through the Lutherville, Timonium Recreation Council as an assistant coach and stats keeper for sports including baseball, soccer, volleyball, softball and basketball.
