James D. Nissen

Class of 1998

Jim was born June 22, 1936, in Winona, MN. After graduating from Winona State University with a BA in business administration, he married Caron. They raised three children.

He entered the candy business in 1974 as Regional Sales Manager at Concorde Confections. In 1976, he moved to Pearson Candy as Heartland sales manager and national accounts manager, then in 1978 joined Charms Co. for which he worked at the time of his induction.
