Jack Zachary

Born in Chicago on September 15, 1937, Jack attended St. George High School and the University of Michigan where he received a degree in Business Administration. In 1959, he married his high school sweetheart, Charlene, and they raised six children, Jack III, Janet, Kathleen, Karen, Susan and Patrick.

President of Zachary Confections, Inc. at the time of his induction, Jack joined the company as a territory salesman in 1959. In 1984, Jack admitted that perspiration and being lucky had been the biggest factors in his success.

Jack served as chairman of the National Confectioners Association from 1993 to 1994, and in 1996 was presented with the 51st Kettle Award.
