Henry R. Gottlieb

Class of 1980

Born in Brooklyn, NY in April, 1915, Henry was a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School in New York and Syracuse University. Continuing his education, he received his law degree from the Brooklyn Law School.

A partner and co-owner of Jaret International, Inc. Henry dedicated 25 years of his life to furthering the interests and success of the confectionery industry.

He was honored many times throughout his career, both for his contributions to the industry and for his commitment to charitable works. His numerous honors include being named a Friend Of The Industry in 1978 and Diplomat of Confectionery Import Industry, also in 1978. Henry was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 1980.
