Bobby J. Prince
Class of 1997
Bobby was born in Dallas on December 4, 1937. He graduated from Sunset High School in 1956 and attended Arlington State. He married Linda in 1964, and the couple raised two daughters, Dristi and Sherri.
At the time of his induction, he had been in the industry for 32 years, latterly spending six years as national sales manager for Concord Confections. He started his career in the supermarket arena with Wyatt Food Stores/Kroger.
After working at Dallas Food Broker, he spent eight and a half years as a Hershey sales representative and then a district sales manager. He moved to Massey & Fair Food Brokers in Atlanta as vice-president of confections, and in 1975 joined Leaf Confections as a regional sales manager.
Some say lack of loyalty exists, he said of the candy business at his induction, but this industry started, grew and continues to change through good, caring people.
