Bill R. Hoffman

Bill was born August 20, 1945 in Orange, NJ. He attended East Orange High School and Glassboro State, also in New Jersey. He raised one son, Billy Hoffman, Jr.
A more than 33-year candy industry veteran, Bill owned Great Southern Marketing at the time of his induction. Previously, he spent 16 years at Charms Co. as divisional sales manager and convenience store sales manager.
At his induction, he credited Dan Monaco, inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 1986, as the biggest influence on his career.
Bill passed away on July 13, 2024 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was survived by his wife of 24 years, Diane Quinn Hoffman.
