Arnold Citrin was born October 16, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, where he attended Boys High School and Brooklyn College.

Arnold began his 47-year career in the candy industry in 1950 when he became a sales rep for the CarlSam Sales Co. In 1954 he joined the Bunte Candy Co. as sales rep, a position he held until joining the firm of Lublin-Sugarman in 1959. In 1967 he formed Citrin-Pitoscia Co. Inc. a company he served as CEO at the time of his induction.

Throughout his career, Arnold served the industry in many ways, and was honored for his contributions by being named a Candy Ambassador to the NCWA in 1969 and serving as president of the New York Candy Club, 1972 – 1973. Arnold was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame in 1994.

Arnold passed away February 1, 2015.
