Meg Young

Class of 1995

Meg was born July 5, 1943 in Lockport, NY. She attended Wilson Central High School and SUNY at Albany where she earned both Bachelor and Masters of Arts degrees.

Following a brief teaching career, Meg spent several years in both inside and outside sales at Xerox Corp. and Morton Salt. She married John in 1989, they raised one son, Paul.

She joined The Topps Co. Inc. in 1976 as a territory manager in western Massachusetts. She became district manager of New England, and in 1993 was promoted to national accounts manager, the position she held at the time of her induction.

An active participant in local candy organizations, she served as president of the Boston Confectionery Salesmen’s Club in 1989 and 1990. In 1990 the American Wholesale Marketers Association recognized her as a Candy Ambassador.
