Scholarship awarded in 2017
As a freshman at Loyola University Maryland, Molly is begin coursework for a degree in English and will include business curriculum in her studies to support her goals of working in sales. She plans to enroll in a post-grad program following graduation.
During her time at Bishop Feehan High School, in Attleboro, MA, Molly served as a student ambassador on behalf of the school's admissions department, helping coordinate student orientation programs and assisting at school fairs. She was also a member of the varsity swim team, and had extensive volunteer experience ranging from cognitive care facilities Cornerstone of Canton and Avita of Needham to work at St. John and St. Gerard parishes in Canton, MA.
Away from the classroom, Molly was as a lifeguard and swim instructor in addition to working in the service industry. Listing swimming, biking and reading among her hobbies, she jokingly says her passion for spending time with the elderly, "especially the folks at my grandmothers cognitive care facility," have made her an expert at bingo and word searches.
